
Seattle's Olympic Sculpture Park

More than 200,000 cubic yards of fill were brought to the Park site from a downtown construction project to raise the ground level far above the existing train tracks that bisected it. These sculptural concrete slabs topped with the aspens of the Grove section of the Park support the embankment that is the wall of the train track right-of-way (just below the edge of the frame).
