With permission from the city, an organic gardener in Seattle has expanded the plantings in her south and west facing corner lot out into the median strips, and dug beds of flowering perennials, herbs, and shrubs into the lush green lawn grass, thus seemingly expanding her own yard by visually tying the two together.
