In the early morning light, a small, circular backyard lawn behind the late 19th century farmhouse on this property about an hour north of Seattle is surrounded by a Sissinghurst-style white garden containing white peonies, bleeding heart, delphiniums, white iris, white roses, and garden flox, among others. The white-painted greenhouse was salvaged from a local arboretum and restored for use here, and adds to the romantic, cottage garden feel. Garden design by Toni Christianson, Christianson's Nursery
