Richard Serra's, "Wake, 2004" may provide the most impressive up-close experience for visitors of all the art pieces in the Park. Comprised of five massive, identical "waves" sited amidst a field of plain gravel, the space surrounding and within the individual pieces becomes as much a part of the sculpture as the pieces themselves.
